Oprah Winfrey is gearing up to throw another one of her signature blowout parties.

I just got word that the media mogul is planning on celebrating the 10th anniversary of her magazine, O, next May with a star-studded concert at New York's iconic Radio City Music Hall.

There's also talk of Ms. Winfrey closing down the city's West Side Highway, or at least a portion of it, for a charity event to coincide with the festivities.

Winfrey launched the magazine in April 2000 with a fete at New York's Metropolitan Pavilion. Among the guests were…

Sean "Diddy" Combs, Martha Stewart, Diane Sawyer, director Mike Nichols, Diana Ross, Maria Shriver and Barbara Walters, who came out to celebrate all things Oprah.

The highlight of the evening included a performance by Tina Turner, whose backup singers included former E.R. actress Gloria Reuben.

If there's anyone who knows how to throw a party it is Oprah.

Her Legends Ball in 2006 capped off a three-day affair that Winfrey held at her $50 million Montecito, Calif., estate. She honored 25 of her idols, including Maya Angelou, Rosa Parks, Aretha Franklin, Alice Walker, Diana Ross, Patti LaBelle and Lena Horne.

The black-tie soiree's guest list included Michelle Obama, Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Halle Berry, Mariah Carey, Missy Elliott, Janet Jackson, Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige, Usher and Tyra Banks.

There were 200 waiters for 362 guests, plus a 26-piece orchestra!

And let's not forget her 50th birthday parties—yes, she had more than one—back in January 2004.

First up was a dinner for 75 at Chicago's Metropolitan Club, followed the next day by a live episode of her talk show that featured Tina Turner, Stevie Wonder, John Travolta, Jay Leno and a 400-pound cake.

Then, Winfrey jetted to the West Coast for a luncheon for 50 of her closest female friends (like Ellen DeGeneres and Salma Hayek) at the Hotel Bel-Air in L.A.

Two hundred guests turned out the next night for a Colin Cowie-designed extravaganza at the Montecito estate. Partying into the wee hours—and dancing to a performance from Stevie Wonder—were Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston, John Travolta and Tom Hanks.

Hmm, we've gotta figure out a way to snag an invite to the party in May.
