Top Chef's Fresh Meat Gets Pucked Over

After watching the season premiere, we just have to ask: What did you think?

The Sin City edition of Top Chef kicked off tonight, and all the usual types of cheftestant were present: the too-cocky guy, the shy powerhouse and a generous assortment of the extravagantly tattooed.

But these newbies were overwhelmed the fresh flavor of one man, guest judge Wolfgang Puck.

When Puck doesn't like something—like a dud donut—the chef gleefully chucks it across the room. (Let's hope Toby Young took some notes.)

The sixth season premiere had the usual crowd-pleasing elements, such as Padma Lakshmi's emotionally delivered banishment, "Pack your knives and go," along with useful additions like cash incentives. As Bravo's post-Project Runway flagship, Top Chef seemed like it was trying to both top itself and deliver all the things we've come to expect over the past five seasons.

What do you think—did it succeed?
