Joking that he's "Brave and stupid" to stop by Real Time With Bill Maher, Brad Pitt talks about contemplating running for office on a sure-to-lose platform of "No religion, gay marriage and legalizing pot."

On the last topic, one of Bill's faves, the host waxes rapsodic about how years ago he saw Brad at a party rolling joints non-stop, like a machine, to which Brad modestly demures, "I'm an artist." Kidding aside, Brad says he stopped smoking weed when he became a dad because he needed to be alert. Revealing himself to be a responsible and reasonable freethinker, maybe do-gooder Pitt does have a future in politics after all.
