Julianne Hough may have turned 21 back on July 20, but that wasn't about to stop her from celebrating the milestone this weekend in Atlantic City.
Hough partied with sisters Marabeth and Katherine at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. The Saturday festivities kicked off with shopping and dinner, and ended with dancing at Mur.mur, where she was presented with a cowboy boot birthday cake.
Did the trio get all Girls Gone Wild on us?
Nah.
"It was really just a fun girls weekend—not a crazy drunkfest," a source tells us. "It was more like just a couple cocktails and dancing with sisters."
While Hough's boyfriend of a year, fellow country music crooner Chuck Wicks, was absent from the good times (he's currently on tour), the couple is reportedly ready to take their relationship to the next level.
"They just bought a house together," another source said. "A proposal may be soon to follow. Supposedly [Wicks] already has a ring."
Even so, some of Hough's friends and family are said to be concerned that she and Wicks, 30, have moved too quickly.
"They feel like she rushed into her last engagement and they don't want her to make the same mistake again," the source said.
Hough was engaged to former dancer Zach Wilson but broke it off in 2007.
Wicks and Hough have been dating publicly since last August, after meeting on tour with Brad Paisley. The lovebirds were also partners on last season's Dancing With the Stars.
