Rob Kardashian is about to face his biggest challenge yet, but he's never been more prepared.

In case you missed it, the E! reality star welcomed his first child earlier this morning, a baby girl named Dream Kardashian, with fiancé Blac Chyna. It's no secret the 29-year-old has endured an uphill battle over the past few years, spending the entirety of 2015 outside the public eye while he dealt with a surprise Diabetes diagnosis among other personal issues.

But Rob's whirlwind romance with Chyna, who is credited with developing her man's newfound "confidence," seemingly kick started his new lease on life into high gear, and a baby on the way certainly didn't hurt either.

In the first few months of 2016 alone, the Arthur George sock mogul was photographed out and about 27 times. To put this in perspective, he'd only been spotted five times in the year before his longtime friendship with Chyna took a romantic turn.

Four months after Rob and Chyna started dating, E! News learned the engaged lovebirds were expecting a baby together, and ever since then, his sole focus has been on bettering himself for the sake of Dream.

Take, for example, Rob's increased social media usage and renewed relationships with family members. During his darkest days, the former Dancing With the Stars competitor remained unequivocally reclusive, going as far to miss sister Kim Kardashian's wedding to Kanye West, and refraining from appearing in person on Keeping Up With the Kardashians as he battled depression and weight gain of an estimated 100 lbs.

Fast forward to the impending arrival of Rob's newborn, and his Instagram and Twitter (once a live timeline of the drama surrounding Chyna and his sisters) is full of snapshots featuring his leading lady, childhood moments, fitness inspiration and an all-around sense of excitement surrounding parenthood. On Snapchat, the reality star is often seen working up a sweat alongside Khloe Kardashian or helping Chyna whip up a healthy meal.

In the final weeks of Chyna's pregnancy, Rob shared a throwback photo of the duo looking fit as ever. "Oh yeah we snapping back lol," he wrote, continuing, "baby will be here in 4 weeks and I'm done with carrying this pregnancy weight... MOTIVATION TIME‼️"

As for his famous fam, Rob recently insisted he's looking forward to making up for memories he wasn't present for. "Family is important," he told Kris Jenner on KUWTK. "We're all obviously not always gonna be here for who knows how much longer. So I was just thinking we should definitely get like a little family dinner here because I feel like I haven't attended one of those in like years."

Perfect timing for the holiday season...

Each member of the Kards family has openly discussed their support of Rob and Chyna's relationship, and their heartwarming well wishes following Dream's arrival is further testament that their sibling bond is totally solid despite any initial tension.

But perhaps Rob's biggest breakthrough came when he revealed during an episode of Rob & Chyna that he's completely free of diabetes. " "That's like the best news I've heard all year, literally," he told his fiancé, later adding, "The baby is obviously the best news… that's of my life."

Moving forward, all of Rob's attention will surely be on little Dream, in addition to planning his big wedding day to Chyna! With such exciting times ahead, we can't wait to see Rob continue his admirable progress.
