Apparently members of the Jersey Shore cast have put their tan, sandy feet down. They are on strike against MTV over contract issues. Reportedly, MTV wanted to shoot "at home" stuff of the cast, which the cast would consider season three since they will no longer be in Miami. MTV wants to call it part of season two, which would leave the cast under their original contract. It's shocking to me that MTV would try to get out of paying more money to their talent. I guess these kids think they are worth more than $10,000 per episode and want a new deal, at least that's what they decided when someone read their contracts to them. MTV thinks they can find other kids that like to drink and work out, so they don't seem to care. As Patrick Swayze once said to Demi Moore in the movie Ghost...ditto.
