According to the website, she attempted to pay for her groceries with a credit card, but the card was declined. She then reportedly tried to pay with a second credit card…also declined. Supposedly she didn't have any cash on her, so a friend stepped in and took care of the bill.
In her defense, her credit may be fine. The bank probably just flagged it for unusual activity, because she usually does her grocery shopping at a pharmacy.
