As the former talk-show host travels to Australia for her "Evening With Oprah" tour, the 61-year-old is speaking out about a music superstar who has developed quite the squad.
"I've never seen any woman handle herself the way she does," Oprah explained to Australia's Herald Sun when talking about the Grammy winner. "She makes my eyes water, the way she handles herself."
Great, now Swifties all around the world are going to get emotional.
Oprah continued, "She manages the whole fame trip, what it means to be in the spotlight, so when you think about all the things going wrong [with] the world, she is the true great role model."
The kind words come as both Oprah and Taylor are in Australia for two totally different but exciting events.
After a Thanksgiving road trip that took her to New Zealand, Taylor is headed back Down Under for the final dates of her 1989 World Tour. Meanwhile, Oprah is kicking off her multi-city arena tour appropriated titled "An Evening With Oprah."
"I wanted to come back because I felt the spirit of the people, not just in Melbourne, but all over this country in such a way that I'd never experienced before," she shared with Ten Network almost five years after The Oprah Winfrey Show traveled to the famous continent. "I wanted to be a part of that and be a part of that in a way that I got to share myself and got to share my own stories and hopefully inspire some people."
As for speculation that Oprah could celebrate Taylor's birthday later this month, your guess is as good as ours. But we also wouldn't mind a little cameo on tour during a runway performance of "Style."
Like many fans would like to argue, Oprah never, ever goes out of style.
