Hey Kate, slow down. You're taking this whole rock 'n' roll lifestyle a little too seriously. In this mindless sex-driven comedy, Hudson plays Lucy Owens, a cabaret singer at a local Irish pub smack-dab in the middle of cool and ultrahip Dublin. Sporting an impressive accent (she uses a lot of feck offs), she falls for a mysterious stranger, the titular Adam (Stuart Townsend).
But the morphing Casanova has a secret. Well, quite a few, as Adam gets to know Hudson's two sisters, her brother and her brother's girlfriend in , well, the biblical sense. The sex may be great, but you're left feeling somewhat cheated by the rest of the story. The tale--told through multiple perspectives--smiles and giggles its way through times when a bit of seriousness is needed. And to think, Adam didn't even call us the next morning.
