For some reality stars, life after reality television equals fame, fortune and even...love.
After gaining some notoriety, some of them have had romances with Hollywood actors and famous singers.
In 2007, Lindsay Lohan and fellow socialite Calum Best, who appeared on the British reality shows Fool Around With and The Match, were often seen out together and made tabloid news. Their relationship was turbulent. In his 2015 memoir Second Best: My Dad and Me, Best wrote that "she had a mad life, running around the world all the time. Everyone has their nose in her business, so there was no chance for something real to build between us."
"But I did spend enough time with her to know she's a lovely girl," he said.
Other relationships between reality stars and Hollywood and music stars have been more successful.
Kim Kardashian and rapper and husband Kanye West, who have been married since 2014 and have two children, with one on the way via surrogate. In addition, Kelley Limp from The Real World: New Orleans and Party of Five actor Scott Wolf have been married since 2014 and are parents of three.
Last week, rapper Offset proposed to fellow rapper and Love & Hip Hop: New York alum Cardi B onstage at a concert.
Then there are the rumored romances. Modern Family actress Sarah Hyland and Bachelor in Paradise alum Wells Adams sparked romance rumors this weekend just before Halloween when she posted photos of them together, dressed as characters from Stranger Things. They have not commented on the nature of their relationship.
In 2009, The Hills star Audrina Patridge was linked to Star Trek actor Chris Pine.
When asked if the two were seeing each other. she said on On-Air With Ryan Seacrest, "Ryan, my lips are sealed. I am not talking about this!" Pine has not commented.
