UPDATE: Maksim spoke out about the incident on Conversations With Maria Menounos. "That's some bulls--t. I'm sorry can I say bullshit on your radio. I cannot believe this. It's like literally in the last set of couple of months there's just been so much stuff that's never happened to me before. It's like a pile of stuff. Yesterday, you know how it is, you get eliminated you have to fly to GMA. This was so shocking to Heather and I that ya know she wasn't ready, I was, I would've done whatever I needed to do but because we both have kids now, and it's kind of like ok, hold on a second let's figure this out. So GMA was kind enough to let us not have to fly but we do the satellite interview at like 4 in the morning or whatever. So at like 2:20 I wake up, this loud knocking I come down there's cops. They say there's a dude outside claiming this is his house. Wait what?! So yeah it was pretty wild. I guess it's an ongoing thing with the ex-owner of this house. By the way talk about Hollyweird…"

He continued, "Used to be some rock singer, rock band ya know frontman or something… completely out of his mind. It got to the point I obviously showed our renter's agreement and everything else on my house. We're renting this house but uhhh and then they came out and I asked cops ya know can I see them, can I see who this is. They're like sure so I came I just want to see their face so if I see someone in the neighborhood that's like this I want to call the cops myself. The guy is belligerent on some stuff, just showing some deeds. It was also funny I'm not from a ghetto. I'm not from the hood. I come from a tough place and although I'm not this tough guy who prides himself on this, but I can pick out a muscle when I see one. This guy had a friend who was even more belligerent drunk than he. He was trying to setup like poses… he was like 5'6 maybe… It was just funny to me the whole thing. it was 2:30 in the morning I couldn't understand what's happening and then I had to get into the car do the satellite and I called Heather I was like, Babe, I'm sorry I just can't, I don't know how to leave the house.' It's my mom, Peta, our nurse and a baby. It's like three chicks, half a human and me. This is a fun household. But the house is great. I feel bad the dude lost it a long time ago in unpaid bills or something like that."

Everyone is safe and sound.

While appearing on Good Morning America Tuesday morning, Heather Morris revealed that her Dancing With the Stars partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, was unavailable to do the interview because someone had allegedly tried to break into his and Peta Murgatroyd's home. "They had some sort of run in with some man near their house trying to break in, but the police were there," Morris, 30, said. "They took care of it. So they're safe and Peta's okay. That's the most important thing."

The scary incident comes three months after the couple welcomed their first child together, a boy named Shai Aleksander.

LAPD confirms to E! News that they responded to a call about a suspected break in. No one was arrested. Neither Peta nor Maks has commented on the alleged incident.

Despite this terrifying ordeal, Peta and Maks have been happier than ever since welcoming Shai into their lives. In fact, Maks has acclimated to dad life so well that he's already prepared to expand the brood.

"F--k yah. Yes, I would like to have as many kids as Peta decides to pop out," Maks shared with E! News exclusively while celebrating Swiffer's 18th birthday. "I think we're going to have as many kids as we can ourselves and just adopt a couple of kids. I just want a big family."

He continued, "I feel like the best part of having a child is you get to influence a brand-new human. If you're going to complain about some of the things happening in the world nowadays, you need to look at the generation that you are raising and say okay, the best way to change or to alter or to upgrade this world is to instill things in your children that you want them to have as adults and push that out."

Learning to balance their careers, relationship and family was a challenge, but Maks said their love gets them through it. "I miss her now. She misses me the second I get to the airport. Sharing a child is an incredible opportunity to figure out who you are as a person and we are settling into our roles as parents I think the right way," he shared with us. "We're just going to rely on one another and rely on our love, our unity and the sky is the limit."

Thankfully everyone is OK!
