Good news for gorgeous terpsichorean talent Karina Smirnoff. Despite a round of knee surgery due to an injury sustained on Dancing With the Stars, Smirnoff will be returning when the new season begins on March 9. “I feel great,” Smirnoff told E! News. "I'm walking around easily, doing my physical therapy. The doc did an amazing job and said that I should be 100 percent by Feb. 10.”
However, according to Soup Blog sources, her speedy recovery has squashed plans for Yakov Smirnoff to appear on Dancing With the Stars. “He really thought it would boost ticket sales for his Branson shows,” said the source. “And since his name is the same, well, why not? America is crazy country!”
