One of Ryan Lochte's lifelong dreams just came true.

The 12-time Olympic medalist will soon welcome his first child with fiancé Kayla Rae Reid, but as an exclusive interview he gave to E! News so proves, Ryan is more than ready to shake his bad boy image for a chance at fatherhood.

"Before I even got engaged, I wanted a family of my own," the professional swimmer explained to us while competing on Dancing With the Stars. "I wanted to find the right one first and then have kids with her. Now that I've found the right one, that's something we definitely talked about."

"We want kids and I mean, I'm ready to be a dad," he added. Aww! Or should we say, Jeah?!

But before Ryan and Kayla welcome their bundle of joy into the world, there's one thing to plan: A massive wedding!

The 32-year-old has never shied away from expressing his excitement about tying the knot with the model, telling us that he looks forward to making every game time decisions alongside Kayla. "That's one of the things that I wanted to do because this is not just her wedding. Even though everyone says it's always the woman's wedding, but it's mine too and we're a couple now," Lochte admitted.

He continued, "I wanted to be involved as much as I can. I want to help her pick out the flowers, help pick out the cake… like everything. I want to be right there with her."

Sounds like some pretty momentous times are right around the corner for the couple of just under a year. Congratulations on a moment to be celebrated!
