Angelina Jolie has surfaced.
The actress, who filed for divorce from Brad Pitt in September, was photographed in public for the first time since news of their split went public. Jolie was spotted at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles, looking solemn in a long black dress, black cardigan sweater and aviator sunglasses. Her left hand revealed that she removed her wedding band.
Jolie returned to the public eye on one other occasion, but it was in a recorded video for the International Criminal Court in support of a recent policy regarding children. Other than that, the Changeling star has been maintaining a low profile since filing for divorce from Pitt. The former couple was trying to work out a divorce settlement and custody agreement over their six kids, Maddox Jolie-Pitt, 15, Pax Jolie-Pitt, 12, Zahara Jolie-Pitt, 11, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, 10, and twins Knox Jolie-Pitt and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, 8.
E! News confirmed earlier this week that Jolie and Pitt reached a temporary custody agreement. According to court documents obtained by E! News, the children will remain in Jolie's custody. Pitt will continue to have "therapeutic visitation" with his kids, as well as attend weekly individual therapy sessions. The Allied actor will also have to attend group therapy and must submit to random drug tests. Their children will also continue individual therapy sessions.
Pitt and Jolie's agreement comes after the FBI officially closed its investigation into Pitt's actions with one of their children on a private plane. Earlier in November the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services Earlier also cleared Pitt of child abuse allegations.
While appearing on a red carpet for his newest film, Allied, Pitt gave his fans a shout out. "It's really sweet, everyone has been really kind out here," he said before adding, "It's really nice to have all the support."
