Johnny Depp may not be too thrilled with his latest honor.

For the second year in a row, the Pirates of the Caribbean star has earned the No. 1 spot on Forbes' annual Most Overpaid Actors list.

According to the publication, Johnny returned just $2.80 at the box office for every $1 he was paid on them.

The calculations were based on the last three films each actor starred in before June 2016 excluding animated films.

In Johnny's case, Alice Through the Looking Glass is one of the biggest films during that time period. The movie grossed just $300 million on a $170 million budget.

One of the biggest takeaways Forbes argues is the fact that star power doesn't always equal dollar signs for popular movie franchises.

Will Smith came in second place by returning $5 for every $1 he was paid thanks to lower-performing movies including Focus and Concussion.

Perhaps one of the biggest surprises to come from the list is Channing Tatum. While he found huge success with Magic Mike XXL—it earned $122 million on a $14 million budget—his movie average decreased after disappointing sales on Jupiter Ascending.

Ultimately, the top names on Forbes' annual list don't have much to worry about at all. After all, everyone still has major projects lined up in the year ahead.
