E! News confirmed the two wed on Nov. 27, 2015, in Manhattan, joined by 50 of their closest friends and family members. Since then, Mary-Kate's year as a newlywed has been filled with love, success and plenty of new beginnings—of course, also mixed with some of the things she's always done before saying "I do."
Here's some insight into the fashoinista's first year of marriage and everything she's been up to:
Wedding Details: Following the wedding, reports circulated regarding the details from their nuptials. We heard the couple offered "bowls and bowls filled with cigarettes, and everyone smoked the whole night."
We also learned they tied the knot at a private home in Manhattan in front of some 50 guests.
Full House Co-Stars React: Though Bob Saget nor any of her other Full House co-stars were invited to the wedding, they each sent their well wishes to the fashionista and her hubby after their wedding.
"I was not invited, but I'm very happy and I sent a Mazel tov text," Saget said on the Today show following the wedding. "I'm very happy. I love her very much. I hope they're happy."
Dave Coulier, who played Uncle Joey, told E! News, "I'd like to congratulate Mary-Kate and wish her and her husband all the happiness in the world. Sending my love."
John Stamos also sent his well wishes, posting a sweet throwback snapshot of himself with the twins and wrote, "'In the blink of an eye.' Congrats MK."
Fuller House Launches: And neither Mary-Kate nor Ashley were involved. The pair decided to stay away from the re-launch of the famous television show that launched their career, despite fans' hopes that they would partake.
Coffee and Cigarettes: Though she was officially a married woman, Mary-Kate proved she was still the same gal she's always been, making her post-wedding debut in NYC by stepping out with her go-to coffee-and-cigarette combo.
Basketball Games and PDA: Mary-Kate and Olivier have always been big fans of the New York Knicks, attending games together since they first started dating in 2012. And that didn't stop once they tied the knot!
They've attended plenty of games over the last year. Most recently, they were spotted getting cozy on a double-date with Ashley Olsen and her new man Richard Sachs.
Career Success: Mary-Kate has continued building on her career success with Ashley, focusing a lot of time on their fashion lines. Here, they attended the Oliver Peoples & The Row: Collaboration Launch in NYC in February.
Museum Dedications: Matt and Viviana, two comedians from NYC, teamed up with Chicago artist Laura Collins to create an entire museum dedicated to "The Olsen Twins Hiding From the Paparazzi," which is pretty neat and also hilarious.
Social Media Debut: Mary-Kate made her social media debut in April by taking her first-ever public selfie with sister Ashley. The debut was part of their collaboration with Sephora when they took over the makeup store's social media accounts for a day.
Red Carpet Appearances: Though they had attended plenty of fashion events following Mary-Kate's wedding, the twins made their biggest appearance at the 2016 Met Gala in May, posing on the red carpet together in black and gold.
Turning 30: Mary-Kate rang in the milestone birthday with Ashley on June 13, adding to what had already been a very big year for the fashion designer.
Vacation Time: With all that time spent working on creating their successful fashion lines, the twins took a much needed break in September. They were spotted with Olivier at the Hotel du Cap Eden Roc in Antibes, France, soaking up the sun and swimming in the ocean.
Celebrations: Mary-Kate took her new hubby to celebrate their friends' engagement party in October, posing with the couple side-by-side in the pic. Interestingly, Ashley brought her rumored boyfriend at the time, Hayden Slater, along with her but they've since split.
Congratulations to Mary-Kate and Olivier on their first year of marriage. Cheers to plenty more anniversaries!
