After the sad and shocking news of Mexican actor Renato Lopez's death, celebrities like Juanes, Dulce Maria, and Gloria Trevi all took to social media to mourn the death of the 33-year-old.

"I am very moved by the death of our loved and charismatic Renato...I am left without words after knowing what happened...Only two weeks ago he was with me in Medellín as part of our video. I think about his family, his girlfriend, friends, peers and I can't find peace, only in prayer. It was in honor to have you on our journey. Such great sadness," the Colombian singer wrote alongside a photo of himself with Lopez.

The rising star was an actor, songwriter, and host. He and publicist Omar Girón were found dead inside of a car with deadly wounds caused by firearms according to a statement released by the Mexico State Attorney General's Office. The vehicle was located in the town of Santa María Mazatla.

According to reports, both Lopez and Girón's family reported them missing on Wednesday, however, it wasn't until Thursday that their bodies were identified.

He was also known for hosting Zona Trendy and E! Latin News as well as his recent projects which included songwriting for many huge names in the Latin market.

"Until forever, friend. Sometimes, although we don't understand see it, God has a greater purpose over so much pain, I'll take you with me because you were a good soul," Dulce María tweeted

Lopez was in a seven-year relationship with Swedish-blogger Alexandra Ivanisevic. According to one of her Instagram posts, when the two got together he was living in Los Angeles and she was living in Sweden, they both moved to Mexico and made it work.
