Cool Dad Alert! Rob Lowe Heads to Las Vegas for His Son's 21st Birthday Celebration

Whoever said it's uncool to ring in your 21st birthday with your parents clearly hasn't met the Lowe family.

Over the weekend, Rob Lowe and his wife Sheryl Berkoff headed to Las Vegas for a fun weekend getaway. Along the way, they couldn't help but celebrate their son's big birthday.

After turning 21, John Lowe joined his dad and a group of friends including Patrick Schwarzenegger for a night out at the OMNIA Nightclub inside Caesars Palace.

E! News has learned the group was escorted to a VIP table where they were treated to a birthday cake and oversized cutout images of the birthday boy. They would later enjoy the sounds of resident DJ Calvin Harris before calling it a night in the early hours of the morning.

"Even the fountains are pumped for the @johnnylowe and the 21st #birthday bash!! #vegas," Rob joked on Instagram after enjoying a meal at Sushi Roku at Caesars Palace. "#birthday #vegas 21 and done!!"

Just last week, the Stanford University student celebrated his actual 21st birthday where he received plenty of love on social media.

"Happy 21st #Birthday to the one and only @johnnylowe Miss you, #love you, can't wait to #celebrate," Rob shared on Instagram. "Meantime, have a ball!!"

Little did we know that the celebration would include a fun weekend in Viva Las Vegas.

"Sure beats a Friday in the library at Law School," older brother Matthew Lowe wrote on Instagram from inside Omnia nightclub. "@omnianightclub @calvinharris."
