Ladies and gentlemen, Decision 2016 is almost coming to an end.
After millions and millions of Americans cast their vote, many were eagerly waiting to see if their candidate came out on top Tuesday evening.
But before every vote was counted and a winner was officially declared, plenty of moments grabbed the attention of pop culture and political fans alike.
From Saturday Night Live sketches to eye catching outfits, this election had its share of twist and turns. But with Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton this close to becoming president, it's time to look back at the best pop culture memories from the past several months.
Take a peek at just a few of the unforgettable moments that we may be talking about for quite some time.
1. Alec Baldwin and Kate McKinnon's Transformations
Regardless of what happened in the debates or on the campaign trail, these Saturday Night Live stars were able to provide a whole lot of laughs to viewers as Donald and Hillary. When it was time for the opening sketch, it was time for politics.
2. Donald Trump's Cake
Before polls closed throughout the country, a Donald Trump cake surfaced outside Trump Tower that quickly got the Internet buzzing. While we're not sure which election party was going to taste this dessert, it didn't stop fans from sharing their honest thoughts about the finished product.
3. Jimmy Fallon Touches Donald Trump's Hair
Back in September, the Republican presidential nominee appeared on The Tonight Show where the topic of hair was immediately brought up. "Can I mess your hair up?" Jimmy asked. Donald replied, "The answer's yes, but the people in New Hampshire where I'm going to be in about an hour from now—I hope they're going to understand."
4. Donald Trump Calls Hillary Clinton a "Nasty Woman"
Towards the end of the final presidential debate, Donald said his opponent was "such a nasty woman" while she was answering a question about how she would raise taxes on the rich to tackle debt. The term "nasty woman" quickly became a widespread term and put on T-shirts, cocktails, lip balm and more.
5. Trump Tower Gets an Unexpected Visitor
Back in August, a man attempted to scale Trump Tower in midtown Manhattan in hopes of delivering a message to Donald. The climber was ultimately hauled into the skyscraper by law enforcement at the 20th floor two hours after the spectacle began.
6. Hillary Clinton Addresses Death Row Records Wardrobe Meme
During the three presidential debates, Hillary walked out in three pantsuits: one red, one blue and one white. As it turns out, the looks resemble particular outfits sported by key Death Row Records figures in the ‘90s. Was it a coincidence? "I think Death Row and a lot of other fashion sources have influenced my look, don't you?" Hillary joked on The Breakfast Club. See the moment above at the 18:20 mark.

7. Melania Trump Wears the "Pussy-Bow" Blouse
During the second presidential debate, Melania stepped out wearing an $1,100 "pussy-bow silk crepe de chine" shirt from Gucci. The outfit choice came days after a 2005 video surfaced in which Donald was recorded on an Access Hollywood bus participating in a lewd conversation with Billy Bush.
8. Ken Bone Wins the Debate
Another big star at the second presidential debate was Ken the audience member. As soon as the "uncommitted voter" began asking his question about energy needs and the environment, viewers were reminded of the toy collector from Toy Story 2. He was later parodied on Saturday Night Live and received his own fan pages.
9. Saturday Night Live's Melania Trump Goes Beyoncé
In an installment of "Melania Moments," the NBC late-night series put their own twist on Beyoncé's hit "Sorry" with Cecily Strong as the nation's potential First Lady, Emily Blunt as Ivanka Trump and Kate McKinnon as campaign manager Kellyanne Conway. "Melanianade" also followed Donald's wife and the rest of the ladies in his inner circle as they reach their breaking point amid his journey to the White House.
10. Hillary Clinton's Infamous Shimmy
When Hillary busted out a move during the first debate, she didn't realize it would be such a big story. "I knew that I said, 'Woo!' I knew that, but I didn't know that I did the little shimmy to go along with it," Hillary later explained to Ellen DeGeneres. "And then afterwards I saw it and now people are always saying, 'Do the shimmy, do the shimmy,' you know?"
11. Donald Trump's Concern About Frozen
Back in July, Donald surprised some followers when he spoke out about the beloved Disney movie. "Where is the outrage for this Disney book?" he tweeted. " Is this the 'Star of David' also? Dishonest media! #Frozen." Frozen star Kristen Bell would later respond to the message with the words, "Zip it Don & get ur head outta ur a--. We've more important things 2 think abt today #AltonSterling #PhilandoCastile."

12. Bill Clinton's Love for Balloons
During the Democratic National Convention, the former President couldn't seem to get enough of…wait for it, balloons! In several candid moments captured by photographers, Bill couldn't help but grab, hold, throw, touch and savor the red, white and blue balloons. You do you, Bill.
13. Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton's "Time of My Life" Music Video
If you thought things were tense—and close—during the second presidential debate, you weren't alone. Ultimately, the Internet turned the interesting moments into a musical duet. In a dubbed video first posted by Dutch Lucky TV, Hillary and Donald began singing Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes' 1987 hit, "(I've Had) The Time of My Life."
14. Katy Perry's Halloween Costume
While many celebrated the holiday dressed as some pretty familiar politicians, nobody did it quite like Katy and her boyfriend Orlando Bloom. The pair attended Kate Hudson's Halloween party as Hillary and Donald respectively. "Having a little pre party before I take office," Katy quipped on Instagram before debuting her finished look. "#IMWITHME Cheers to @svedkavodka #howtosvedka @hillaryclinton."

15. Donald Trump's Hat
Wherever the nominee went, his famous hat with the words "Make America Great Again" followed. It quickly became a popular souvenir for Donald supporters and also mocked by some Hillary supporters. And if you're wondering what guests received at Donald's election night event in New York, it was in fact the famous hats.
16. Falling for Politics
During Tuesday night's political coverage, one NBC News reporter was trying to report when a passerby got into the frame. No biggie, right? Not until he lost his step and fell down. Sorry, but what were you saying reporter?
