A Married With Children reunion is so close we can practically taste Peg Bundy's hairspray.
Katey Sagal confirms that she, Ed O'Neill and Christina Applegate are already on board a spin-off that David Faustino has been developing.
"Ed, Chrissy and I told them all that we would do the pilot of...a spin-off of the Bud Bundy story," Sagal told me this week at the premiere of her new real-life boxing drama Bleed For This (in theaters on Nov. 18). "But that was months ago and I haven't heard anything since. But we will all show up if that really happens."
Fingers crossed!
The sitcom centered around the Bundys, a dysfunctional working class family with parents Al (O'Neill) and Peggy (Sagal) and their two kids (Applegate and Faustino).
Faustino first told E! News of his plans in June 2015. "Sony has it. They're excited about it," Faustino said at the premiere of Applegate's Vacation reboot. "They're working out some legal issues that we hope they work out."
Applegate said, "Kelly Bundy probably has like 10 kids. I'm sure of it."
Married With Children ended in 1997 after 11 seasons on Fox.
