As Mark Zuckerberg once said, "the biggest risk is not taking any risk." And while that may absolutely ring true, it's also a known fact that not every risk comes with (or is guaranteed) reward. It's not that we want to discourage country music's biggest stars from making daring wardrobe choices in the future, but it's inevitable (at every and any award show) that some looks just fall flat.

On this year's list is Elle King who's giving us MAJOR matador vibes in a red and gold fringe number (we love how different and bold the look is, but would have loved it if the "Ex's and Oh's" singer gone with less of a theme), The Voice season four alum and winner Danielle Bradbery's gown had some unfinished business—literally and Gretchen Wilson left her red carpet attire at home.
You've got to risk it to get the biscuit (but then you have to live with your photo on this list if yours gets a little too burnt). Amirite?
