Mon-El's (Chris Wood) got a lot of learning to do before he fits in with the people of Earth, but he should probably stop looking to Wynn (Jeremy Jordan) as his teacher.

In our exclusive sneak peek at tonight's episode of Supergirl, Mon-El comes across Kara (Melissa Benoist) talking to that hologram of her mom, and he's got a few new words to try out on her. Unfortunately, his new words are "chillax" and "babe," and Kara's not such a fan...especially when he uses "babe" to describe her mom.

Kara and Mon-El's relationship got off to a pretty rocky start when he finally woke up last week and she realized he was from Krypton's rival planet, Daxam. He attacked her, she blamed him for the attack on the president, and it really looked as though friendship was not in their future. While they've still got a lot of issues to work through, in tonight's episode, Kara takes Mon-El under her wing in order to train him to be able to use his powers, and something tells us Kara might be a better teacher than Wynn could have been.

Tonight's episode will also find Hank getting to know his new martian friend M'Gann (Sharon Leal), while Kara and Alex (Chyler Leigh) investigate an alien murder with ties to an alien fight club.

Supergirl airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on the CW.
