Alessia Cara's song for the Moana soundtrack is your typical Disney-designed motivational song aka an "I Want" song, and it's absolutely going to have you not only belting it out in the shower but also having you rethink all your goals and dreams.

"How Far I'll Go" is the upbeat track that the main character, Moana, will definitely sing as she sets off on her voyage. Similar to "Go the Distance" in Hercules or "Just Around the Riverbend" in Pocahontas, "How Far I'll Go" has all the makings of a '90s Disney track but with a '00s beat. Cara's vocals give the track a modern feel and will have you putting it on repeat so you can memorize the inspirational lyrics.

"I've been standing at the edge of the water / Long as I can remember, never really knowing why / I wish I could be the perfect daughter / But I come back to the water, no matter how hard I try / Every turn I take, every trail I track / Every path I make, every road leads back / To the place I know, where I can not go, though I long to be," Cara sings.

"See the line where the sky meets the sea? It calls me / And no one knows, how far it goes / If the wind in my sail on the sea stays behind me / One day I'll know, if I go there's just no telling how far I'll go."

Although Cara sings the song for the soundtrack, Moana, voiced by newcomer Auli'i Cravalho, will perform the movie version.
