Nick Jonas is on the fetching side all the time, but perhaps none more so than when he's all aflutter over his niece.
Or make that nieces, because today he broke the news that brother Kevin Jonas and sister-in-law Danielle had welcomed their second child, daughter Valentina Angelina Jonas, who joins big sister Alena Rose in the family fold.
"AHH! I'm an uncle again! Congrats to my brother and sister in law on the birth of their new beautiful baby girl," Nick posted alongside a video announcement in which he also called it "the best news ever."
Good grief, could this guy be a cuter uncle? And Joe Jonas chimed in with congratulations from Dubai, where he's on tour with DNCE.
But Nick and Joe are hardly alone in the warm-and-fuzzy world of doting on your sibling's kids. Here are a bunch of celebs who are superstar aunts and uncles:
Prince Harry: Perhaps the super-starriest of them all. "George and Charlotte will grow up and hopefully find me to be the fun uncle. I always want to be the fun uncle," the royal told People this past spring about how he's doing well for now focusing on Prince William's kids. And somehow we have a feeling that Harry is an extraordinarily fun uncle.
Moreover, no less than Michelle Obama gave Harry's familial ways her seal of approval, telling ABC News after the Obamas' famous meeting with a robe-wearing Prince George at Kensington Palace, "I have to say the most precious thing if you haven't already fallen in love with him, is to see him with his nephew."
Khloe Kardashian: Mason, Penelope, Reign, North and Saint have the best aunt! Kourtney and Kim's younger sister also has designs on having kids of her own some day, but she adores lavishing her attention on the nieces and nephews.
"I love everything about being an aunt," Khloe blogged on her website in September 2015 (before Saint was born). "All four of my nieces and nephews come to my house at least three times a week." In addition to getting to "spoil them rotten with Lucky Charms and cookies," she's got plenty of energy left over to run around and play. "I'm just really playful and I guess you could say I'm the 'wild aunt,'" she mused. "But honestly, I like that they view me like that."
Even when she's on the go, Khloe makes sure to FaceTimes with the kids—and when you show that kind of dedication, you have fans for life.
Liam Hemsworth: He isn't often in the same continent as his six nieces and nephews (brothers Luke and Chris Hemsworth have three kids apiece), let alone the same zip code, but you can bet he's the fun uncle.
"I'm the kind of guy who just lets them do whatever they want," Liam admitted on The Tonight Show this summer. Candy "definitely stops the screaming for a period of time."
To be sure, he loves being back home to see them, but "they're crazy little kids. Chris' kids, he's got twins so...that's a whole thing in itself," he said on The Project in his native Australia. "Little nutcases...To be honest, I like to come in when the kids are happy I'll hang out with them, but as soon as there's, you know, crying or poop or anything like that—I'm out."
Spoken like a true uncle. But that being said, Liam has also gushed about that bond, saying, "I love my brothers' kids. It's funny—as an uncle, you become so protective of them."
Benji Madden: From the tattoos to the whole rock star thing (not to mention all the love and the willingness to babysit), Sparrow and Harlow Madden do have a pretty cool uncle.
Niall Horan: "I cried when the baby was born," the One Direction heartthrob told M Magazine about his brother Greg's son, Theodore. "I was just proud of my brother. I couldn't believe he was a father! It's just crazy, but I was so happy." He even took a bunch of photos and showed his nephew off to his mates!
"Niall was buzzing," Louis Tomlinson recalled the moment.
And Niall was psyched to babysit from day one, "if they trust me with him! I'll look after him! I'll just put him to bed and if he cries, I'll tell him to 'Shush!'" he laughed, knowing full well a lullaby would work better...
George Clooney: "My nephew was just made prom king from the high school that I went to," Uncle Silver Fox, who is very close with his family, bragged to Charlie Rose about his sister Adelia's son.
Adelia has said that her famous little brother always sends her son and daughter birthday gifts and calls to check in on them.
We'll bet Clooney's gift for funny faces came in handy over the years, too.
