Instagram Does it get any sweeter than this?
Just a few short days after Ryan Reynolds turned the big 4-0, some fans were beginning to wonder if Blake Lively was going to post a special message to her husband.
Perhaps we were just taught a valuable lesson in patience because the Gossip Girl star just delivered and may have exceeded our expectations.
"@_o_ya_ We fell in love at your restaurant in Boston. We stay in love at your restaurant in NY," the actress shared on Instagram with a photo from their meal. "Thank you for the BEST food and memories! You are our FAVORITE!! Another happy birthday with @vancityreynolds. Hey, Reynolds, I like you a wh❤le lot. Just sayin'..."
Ryan would later add, "Best. Birthday. Everrrrr. Courtesy of my wife, buddy, and international spy, @blakelively. With huge thanks to my favorite restaurant in NYC, @_o_ya_ —and a special shout out to our children for not ruining everything like they planned."
As you likely could have guessed, fans of the couple immediately started liking the photo. In fact, more than half a million followers had clicked their approval in two hours.
One of those admirers was the one and only Taylor Swift who left a comment to show her appreciation of the post.
"Thanks guys," she wrote. "Now I'm drowning in tears of joy."
Life has been more than a little busy for the A-list couple who welcomed their second child into the world at the end of September. While the sex and name of the little one remains top secret, both mom and dad have been able to have some fun in between raising two kids.
In the past month, the couple enjoyed a weekend with Food Network chefs Adam and Jackie Sappington. Blake was also able to attend her BFF's wedding days after giving birth.
Even Taylor herself has traveled to upstate New York to visit the happy family. It's a pretty sweet "Love Story" wouldn't you say?
