How to Get Away With Murder is getting a major injection of star power this week when Mary J. Blige joins the cast—and E! News has your first look at the iconic singer in action as Annalise's (Viola Davis) hair stylist.
In the sneak peek, a distracted Annalise gets brought back down to Earth by Blige's as-yet unnamed character—and we are living for the sass that she's bringing to the salon. Seriously, any woman who can accuse Annalise of "finally" screwing up with the cop (aka the bonkers hot Nate, played by Billy Bown) and live to tell the tale is a woman worthy of sharing the screen with her.
Annalise isn't Blige's character's only target in the quick clip. In a span of 40 seconds, she also trashes the salon's champagne selection and calls a co-worker the "queen of Thot-land." Like we said, LIVING. To see her in action, be sure to check out the video above.
As if a visit from R&B royalty wasn't enough, there's much more going down on How to Get Away With Murder this week. In the episode, entitled "It's About Frank," we'll learn more about—you guessed it—Frank (Charlie Weber) and his troubled past. The mystery surrounding the Annalise "killer" flyers will take a surprising twist, and a shocking new discovery will change everything we think we know about the night of the fire. Which, admittedly, is very little at this point.
