When it comes to questioning Taylor Swift's girl squad, bestie Lily Aldridge is here to set the record straight.

The singer's now-famous group of gal-pals has come under criticism numerous times over the last few years, most recently getting dissed by fellow crooner Demi Lovato, who slammed Swift's group of friends' motives and approach to "women empowerment."

However, when speaking with the supermodel at Golden Heart Awards for Gods Love We Deliver in New York City last night, she reassured E! News that this group of ladies is nothing but positive vibes.

"We are a really nice group of women who support each other and really, genuinely have each others' back and it's awesome," Aldridge tells us. "That's something to be about."

As a true squad does, Taylor's gal-pals have been by her side after her highly publicized breakup with Tom Hiddleston. The ladies were seen stepping out together in New York City for a night on the town, as well as going to see Aldridge's hubby, Kings of Leon musician Caleb Followill, rock out in concert.

Along with fellow squad members Dakota Johnson, Cara Delevingne, Lorde, Zoë KravitzSuki Waterhouse, Lily Donaldson and Martha Hunt, the star-studded friends headed off to a private concert hosted by Sirius XM and aired on Alt Nation.

A source told E! News at the time that the women were at Taylor's New York home where an assistant was spotted bringing bottles inside.  The group left the house around 9 p.m. to head to the one-hour concert in the West Village.

"My husband's new album came out on Friday and it's so amazing. I was listening to it on the way here, I was like, ‘Is it nerdy that I'm pumping it in my car loud by myself?' But I'm so proud of him. It's so amazing. It's so exciting," Aldridge tells us. "So I called my girls, we all had the best time, fanned out. It was awesome."

And when asked whether or not Taylor and Lily's hubby will be making some music together someday, Aldridge is all about it. "Who knows? Maybe! We're all besties," she tells us.

Our ears are here for it.
