With a week to go before Fox's Rocky Horror Picture Show remake and a few until Halloween, you've still got plenty of time to get your RHPS reboot Halloween costume sorted. To help plan your Rocky Horror-themed apparel, E! News visited the set and asked the stars themselves their advice on how to dress like their characters.
Watch the video above for their suggestions—it might be too late to start a gym regimen and get as ripped as Rocky, but there's still plenty of time to get two-day shipping on fishnets and bustiers!
Laverne Cox, Dr. Frank-N-Furter
What you need: Red spiky wig, red bustier, fishnets
"If folks wanted to dress up like Dr. Frank-N-Furter for Halloween, they maybe would want to do Frank-N-Furter's first look, my 'Sweet Transvestite' look. I'm wearing a dark red, spiky wig. Someone said that if Grace Jones and David Bowie had a baby, it would be this look."
Victoria Justice, Janet Weiss
What you need: Royal blue suit, white pumps, white handbag
Alternate look: Bra and slip
"That would be so fun if people dressed up as Janet! It depends on what Janet you want to go for," Justice says. There's "beginning of the movie Janet where I'm at the wedding and I have this royal blue collared jacket with buttons and a little knee-length skirt and classy little white church shoes and my little white handbag."
There's that, or a much simpler look: "You could do that Janet, or you could do the sexually awakened, more free Janet. It's really more easier to find this outfit. It's just a bra and a slip and some high heels."
Staz Nair, Rocky
What you need: Gold shorts…and nothing else
"A little bit of latex and really warm skin is what they need," jokes Nair. "A little bit of gold somewhere, and blonde hair."
Reeve Carney, Riff Raff
What you need: Three piece suit with tails, gloves, rings, heels with spats, some excellent makeup
"It'll hard to replicate the genius of this particular outfit—I can say that because I had nothing to do with creating it! But I think there are things you could definitely get at thrift stores that would put you in the territory."
Annaleigh Ashford, Columbia
What you need: Rainbow wig, gold top hat, black corset, rainbow tutu
Alternate look: Colorful pajama set, Crayola markers
"I think you could go with a few different looks for Columbia," Ashford says. "Number one, gold top hat, black corset, rainbow tutu. Look number 2: lips all over silk pajamas. This one would be a little harder to recreate. I think you could just buy some Crayola markers and some white jammies and you have a craft project and a Halloween costume!"
