SVU is once again hitting the headlines for an upcoming episode.

According to the official logline, "Unstoppable" features Gary Cole as a politician whose campaign goes haywire when several women go public with damaging accusations, which may sound similar to some events that have been going on in the real news as of late, particularly concerning Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump

The episode will air Wednesday, October 26.

Of course, Cole is well known for his role as the president's senior strategist on Veep—HBO's not-so-satirical political comedy starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus as the former VP and current POTUS—so perhaps this role isn't such a stretch for him.

SVU is also well known for taking its stories straight out of reality, and just this season has already featured an episode inspired by the San Berbardino shooting and subsequent FBI investigation. In the past, the show has also been inspired by people and cases like Casey Anthony, Trayvon Martin, JonBenet RamseyO.J. Simpson, and even things like the relationship between Britney Spears and Kevin Federline

Law and Order: SVU airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on NBC.
