Just a day after E! News exclusively broke the news that the Victoria's Secret angel became a mother to a son, the new mom took to Instagram to share the first photo of her son Anacã.
Swanepoel posted a black and white photo of her smiling newborn with her nearly 10 million followers, with the simple caption, "Life is sweet."
Yesterday we reported that the supermodel gave birth to her first child with fiancé Hermann Nicoli. The pair, who have been together for over 10 years, named their son after a Brazilian word for a type of bird.
Photographer and friend Jerome Duran took to Instagram to share a gorgeous photo of Swanepoel's bare and pregnant body and to congratulate the new mom with the caption, "THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MAMA Congratulations!! @angelcandices @hermannicoli Welcome Anacã!!! Already sooo much LOVE for you and the new family!"
Back in March, E! News exclusively learned about Candice's pregnancy, which as a source revealed to us, came as welcome news for the longtime lovebirds. "They are very happy," a source shared at the time, with a separate insider adding, "She's so excited."
Throughout her pregnancy, Swanepoel granted fans with an intimate glimpse into life as a mama-to-be, sharing a number of gorgeous photos revealing her bump, and the sex of the baby. "My Not so little boy," Candace captioned one of her stunning images.
During the final countdown to welcoming her little guy, Swanepoel also hosted an adorable safari-themed baby shower.
