Kylie Jenner takes the Pantone Color of Year very seriously.

The budding beauty mogul took to Instagram to reveal her latest dye job—and the color is none other than Rose Quartz, hair pro Priscilla Valles confirmed to E! News.

"She can pull off any color! She's like a unicorn," added the extensions specialist.

The light pinkish tone was an easy transition for the E! star, who already had a light base from her previously platinum locks.

"Because she was platinum, she can go any color from there. Originally, she was flirting with other colors, but we showed her the rose-gold shade and instantly that was it. We liked that idea because no one else is doing that right now," Priscilla said.

Toner, which neutralizes brassy or orange tones on bleached hair, was used to enhance the color.

"There are so many hair toners on the market these days with rose tones," added Priscilla. "We went with a light and mild tone, but to achieve the same look, you'll need to be super light to begin with. The longer you leave it, the deeper and more intense it will be."

Earlier this year, Emma Roberts—courtesy of Nine Zero One hairstylist Nikki Lee—revealed a "desert rose" shade, a deeper, more red iteration of Kylie's rose-gold hue.

Adding golden coppers and red undertones to blond or bleached strands softens the hair. It's dynamic, to say the least, and as it fades with washes, it becomes more subtle and romantic. Now that Kylie's gone rose gold, it won't be long until fans and hair color enthusiasts follow suit. Local colorists, this is a red rose-gold alert.
