Keke Palmer nearly charmed the pants off Conan O'Brien and his guests.
On TBS' Conan Wednesday, the 53-year-old host said he was "intrigued" by a dance move Palmer recently demonstrated on social media. "It appears you have a super power." After reviewing the clip again, he asked the 23-year-old Scream Queens star, "How do you do that?"
It's easy to get down like Palmer. "I'm telling you, it's just about the gluteus maximus isolation," she told him. "You've just got to isolate each butt cheek. I wish I could [show you]." O'Brien said the actress can do "whatever" she wanted, so Palmer turned her butt toward the camera to show him how it's done. "I feel crazy right now," she giggled. "Sorry, mom, that I'm doing this!"
"Wait! Wait!" fellow guest Norm Macdonald said. "Can you teach Conan how to do this?"
O'Brien climbed on his desk and got on all fours. "Relax yourself, and you're just going to do a little booty isolation," Palmer instructed. "It's going to go one cheek, other cheek." O'Brien whined, "I have no ass to speak of! There's nothing here! I have no nerve endings down here!"
Palmer gave him an "A for effort!"
"A for effort? That's horrible," O'Brien said. "I can't do that."
Palmer gave him credit for trying. "Yo, he's pretty off the charts for that," she said.
"I honestly don't understand how you do that," O'Brien said. "That's amazing."
Macdonald then began to flirt with Palmer. "Keke does not need tricks, and I've never seen a more breathtaking girl in my life," the comedian, 56, said. "And her smile is so genuine." His flattery embarrassed Palmer a bit. "Why you doing this to me?" she asked. "You're so sweet."
O'Brien called him a "creep" and an "old codger" for hitting on the actress—and Macdonald didn't totally disagree. "In this case, I'm absolutely genuine," he said. "Every word I say is true."
"You've got to come back when this masher isn't here," O'Brien told Palmer, referring to Macdonald. Playing along, the actress replied, "I've got to come back with all of you guys." Palmer and O'Brien suggested taking their act on the road, but Macdonald quipped, "I don't think I could survive it. Right now, if you were to take my pulse, you'd have to subtract eight."
