What goes best with romance? The apocalypse, naturally. The CW's No Tomorrow pairs those unlikely things for a charming look at love and taking chances. There's Xavier (Galavant's Joshua Sasse), a firm believer that the world is going to end thanks to an asteroid and then there's Evie (Tori Anderson), a by-the-books type of girl.

"He does have proof," Sasse said of his character's belief in the end being nigh. "I'm not just crazy."

And that's where the Apocalyst comes in. Xavier wants to accomplish some things before the world is destroyed. "It's sort of like a bucket list that he comes up with and it's basically taking her character, who is very sort of stuck in her loop of life, and just breaking all the walls down," Sasse said of the new pairing.

"It's just about living your life and taking opportunities you can," Anderson teased.

Corinne Brinkerhoff, Scott McCabe and Tori Stanton are behind the series that also stars Amy Pietz, Jesse Rath, Jonathan Langdon and Sarayu Blue. And would it be a true romantic comedy without a love triangle?

"What I love about this show is there's a sort of a love triangle going on because our leading lady has a potential fiancé, so she's really torn between the wild man and the darling who gives his heart to her," Pietz said.

No Tomorrow premieres Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 9 p.m. on The CW.
