Lauren Graham is super excited about Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life and understandably so. But, she's a tad worried about her excitement and the affect it may have on viewers, understandably so. After all, not only does Gilmore Girls holds a special place in her heart, but also the hearts of millions of fans around the world.
"I loved it," she told E! News about her return to Stars Hollow as Lorelai Gilmore at the premiere of her new movie Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life. "I'm afraid to be as kind of glowing about it as I feel, because I know that expectations are already high, but for me, personally, it was just an incredibly gratified experience. So, I hope people enjoy it."
Graham will appear alongside her TV daughter Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore), TV mom Kelly Bishop (Emily Gilmore) and dozens more Gilmore Girls favorites, including Melissa McCarthy, Scott Patterson, Liza Weil, Matt Czuchry, Jared Padalecki, Milo Ventimiglia, in the four-part event dropping on Netflix on Friday, Nov. 25. Yes, all of Rory's boyfriends will be back. Find out what Graham had to say about them in the video above.
One key Gilmore Girls figure missing will be Edward Herrmann (Richard Gilmore). Herrmann passed away in 2014, but his presence will be felt as the Gilmore girls deal with his unexpected death. Can fans expect to cry?
"For sure, for sure," Graham teased. "Not in this movie so much, but in Gilmore Girls, for sure."
