Kim Kardashian West has reunited with Kanye West after being held at gunpoint during a robbery attack in Paris on Sunday.

The reality star flew into Teterboro airport in New Jersey Monday to meet up with her husband following what's been a terrifying 12 hours.  She was joined by Kris JennerCorey Gamble and lots of security as she reunited with her husband, and E! News has learned the pair was headed to their New York City apartment where a barrage of security is standing guard.

While visiting the City of Lights for Paris Fashion Week, the 35-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star "was held up at gunpoint...by two armed masked men dressed as police officers" as she stayed in the apartment Kanye owns in Paris, her rep told E! News Sunday.

Kim was "badly shaken but physically unharmed," the rep added.

E! News learned that five men wearing ski masks and police jackets were involved in the robbery around 3 a.m. local time. Two men entered her room at No Address Hotel, bound her hands and feet with tape, gagged her and put her in the bathtub before stealing all her jewelry.

The French Interior Ministry confirmed the men first threatened the concierge with a weapon, handcuffed him and forced him to open Kanye's private apartment that he owns at the hotel where Kim was staying. Two of the men gained entry to her room and stole one of Kim's rings, worth an estimated $4.49 million, as well as a jewelry box, worth an estimated $5.6 million.

Luckily, Kim's children, daughter North West, 3, and son Saint West, 9 months, were not in the room.

A source told E! News, "She begged for them to let her live and [said] she has babies at home…She thought they were for sure going to kill her."

Meanwhile, Kanye emerged in New York City, looking solemn less than 12 hours after he abruptly canceled his set during the Meadows Music and Arts Festival. "I'm sorry, family emergency—I have to stop the show," he told fans without disclosing what had happened to Kim.

E! has also released a statement in light of the incident: "All of us at E! are incredibly thankful that Kim Kardashian West is safe, and we send her and her family our love and support. Keeping Up with the Kardashians was not filming at the time of the robbery.  Our focus right now is entirely on Kim's well-being."
