Ready to cry?

Outlander may be on hiatus right now while filming of season three is underway, but that doesn't mean we're in a complete Droughtlander, all thanks to the release of the season two soundtrack coming up at the end of this month.

Because we know it's hard to wait, you can exclusively listen to one of the tracks right here, right now.

You may recognize the gorgeous piece in the video above—and the chills that come with it—from the episode "Faith," which found Claire (Caitriona Balfe) dealing with a miscarriage and the loss of her daughter, Faith. If there are tears in your eyes just thinking about that episode, you may not make it through the song without full-blown sobs.

"‘Faith', composed for Outlander's heartbreaking midseason finale, needed to capture the innocent tones of childhood, and ultimate emotional devastation," composer Bear McCreary says of the piece. "I wrote a simple melody for piano and concert flute, two instruments that had never been heard on the Outlander score before. I hope their sudden introduction gave the music a sense of timelessness, augmenting its impact on the audience. I wept openly as I scored the final scene in this episode. When I finished the last note, I went into my infant daughter's room, picked her up and held her close for an hour, grateful for her inspiration."

The full soundtrack will be released on October 28, but you can preorder it starting today on Amazon or iTunes. All preorders come with an advanced download of one of the tracks.

"The Outlander fans have been incredibly supportive and I'm so excited they'll finally have a chance to hear the entire soundtrack and follow the musical journey of season two," McCreary says. "Like the series which traveled to France and then back to Scotland again, altering the lives of the characters deeply and changing the tone of the series, my score changed drastically for the second season as well. In the new album fans will hear an array of instruments and melodies, some vaguely familiar, an homage to the roots of the characters, but many new and foreign as we echo the new journey they must face in France."

Outlander returns to Starz for season three in 2017.
