Watch: "Stranger Things" Young Stars Weigh in on Fan Theories

The Stranger Things cast have seen all your theories, Internet. And they've got thoughts—and even a few of their own.

E! News' Will Marfuggi sat down with Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, and Caleb McLaughlin—a.k.a. Eleven, Dustin, and Lucas—to grill them on all of the wildest theories floating around the world wide web about the captivating first season of the Netflix series. They were quick to debunk some that they saw as pure nonsense (Eleven and the Demogorgon as one? Psh, dream on!) and also offered up a few theories that we hadn't even considered before. Could those slugs poor Will (in the show, not Marfuggi) was puking up in the finale be baby Demogorgons? Matarazzo sure thinks so.

And is there greater significance to the Dungeons & Dragons game the boys play than we ever realized? Do we have a warped version of Jumanji on our hands? They make a pretty solid argument. Check out all their theories in the video above.

The wait for answers to all of these theories won't be too long, thankfully. Netflix has ordered a second season of the hit series, which will take place a year after the events of season one, to debut on the streaming service in 2017. Matt and Ross Duffer, brothers and the show's creators, have said they want the new batch of episodes to feel more like a sequel to a film rather than a direct continuation of season one's story. (A bit of innovation born out of necessity, no doubt. These kids are growing as we speak.)

"When Will goes missing, it's like Caroline goes missing in Poltergeist, then you get Caroline back, that to me is a movie. In the sequels, you're still following that family as terrible things happen, but it's a different tension and characters are dealing with different things, and that season will entirely be about resolving that tension," they admitted at 2016 Summer Press Tour. "It is scary though, because we start talking about sequels, and there aren't a ton of good ones, so that's scary."

Another scary thought? Eleven might not involved in the second go-round. The Duffers have remained tight-lipped about Brown's continued involvement. "We leave that up in the air," they told EW. And the young actress was similarly coy with E! News. Quit playing games with our hearts, guys!
