Despite all the obvious health factors and the fact that we can literally see all the benefits John Krasinski has gained from getting ripped for his role in 13 Hours, the actor admits that some of the most positive changes he's experienced happen behind closed doors.

And by that we mean his sex life.

Yes, the 36-year-old actor, who is married to Emily Blunt, wasn't afraid to open up about his mojo during his interview for the September issue of Elle magazine.

"Totally selfishly, [sex] is so much better for me being jacked because you feel so much more confident and you see yourself as this much more sexual person, which is really fun," the Office alum admitted.

Interestingly enough, Krasinski admitted his wife has always loved him, with and without the muscles.

"The truth is, she really is that person who would like me any way," he told the magazine. "But I don't think she's going to kick the eight-pack abs out of bed."

Meanwhile, to get in shape for the role, Krasinski previously explained to Stephen Colbert how he had to put in "a lot of work" in very little time.

"And it's real work, too. I thought it would be like, 'Yeah, let's eat a couple Power Bars and do push-ups.' And he was like, 'No. It's going to be a living hell for six to eight weeks.' We went two sessions a day with my trainer, Jason Walsh. He's amazing. He did Bradley Cooper in American Sniper and all these great people."

Krasinski said Walsh had him doing "two-a-days, pulling sleds, pushing weights. I was like, 'What about these bicep curls?' He was like, 'No, it's so much harder than that.' Like, 'You have to do 80 push-ups by tomorrow.'"
