If Jason Derulo thought he was an experienced dancer, he should think again!

The "Want to Want Me" crooner appeared on The Late Late Show Tuesday night and got the dance lesson of a lifetime...from toddlers. He and host James Corden teamed up with some kid instructors for a round of toddlerography, but despite Corden's warnings, Derulo didn't' believe the dance lesson could be that tough.

"Make sure you really stretch," Corden advised. "They don't joke around here."

"How hard can it be?" Derulo asked.

"You don't know these instuctors," Corden responded. "They're monsters."

And out walked the first "monster"—a little girl!

Set to the tune of Coldplay's "Adventure of a Lifetime," the toddlerography routine proved very difficult for Corden and Derulo, who just couldn't keep up! Whether the kids were moonwalking, doing splits or spinning, the "Cheyenne" singer and British host struggled to follow their every move. But Corden and Derulo kept giving the toddlers their best, and most likely realized afterwards that they truly just experienced an adventure of a lifetime.

After the exhausting lesson, Corden suggested they all get some brunch, but it wasn't your standard table service meal. Instead, Corden, Derulo and a little girl sat down and enjoyed a cup of applesauce.

"Criss-cross applesauce," Derulo joked.
