Jamie McCarthy/Getty ImagesA security railing collapsed during Wiz Khalifa and Snoop Dogg's New Jersey concert stop on Friday, injuring 42 people, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Both artists were onstage when the incident occurred just after 10 p.m. at BB&T Pavilion, reports the newspaper. Graphic video footage from the concert quickly circulated on social media, showing fans pressing against the metal barrier that separated the front row of concertgoers from the stage.
When the railing fell over, a mass of people can be seen tumbling over each other and onto the concrete in front of them. Security can also be seen ushering Wiz Khalifa and Snoop Dogg directly off the stage, who did not return after authorities stepped in to tend to the situation.
"Prayers out to my fans. wishn u all a quick recovery. Love." Snoop tweeted on Saturday. Wiz added, "Hope everyone from last night is alright. That s--t was crazy."
A spokesperson for Live Nation told E! News, "We were saddened that several dozen people, including Live Nation employees, sustained injuries resulting from a railing section collapse during the Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalifa concert at Camden's BB&T Pavilion on Friday night. Live Nation is closely following the recovery of the injured fans and employees as well as actively working with authorities and structural engineers to determine the cause of the collapse."

The statement continued, "We have secured the impacted railing section, and tonight's show with I Love the 90's well as well as tomorrow's show with Fifth Harmony will go ahead as scheduled."
A spokesperson for Camden County, the city where the concert was happening, told The Philadelphia Inquirer on Saturday that 41 people suffered broken bones or more more minor injuries. One person was in serious but stable condition after suffering an upper-body injury.
The spokesperson also told the paper that both rappers were gesturing to fans in the audience to come toward the stage before the railing ultimately gave way.
