For her next project at Netflix, Jenji Kohan is stepping out of the women's prison and into the women's wrestling ring.

The Orange Is the New Black creator just scored a 10-episode series order from the streaming juggernaut for G.L.O.W., a scripted comedy based on the '80s phenomenon of the same name (which hilariously stands for Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling), E! News has confirmed. G.L.O.W. launched in 1986 as a professional wrestling league for women, before transitioning into an unscripted syndicated series that filmed at the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas and ran for four years.

Netflix's scripted spin on the organization—set in Los Angeles and celebrating "big hair and body slams"—will tell "fictionalized story of an out-of-work actress who finds one last attempt to live her dreams in the form of a weekly series about female wrestlers."

The series was co-created by Liz Flahive (Homeland) and Carly Mensch (OITNB), who will executive produce alongside Kohan and fellow OITNB vet Tara Herrmann. Flahive and Mensch, who previously worked together on Nurse Jackie, will serve as showrunners.

The order comes just weeks before OITNB returns for season four on the streaming service. Unlike OITNB, however, G.L.O.W. will be overseen by Netflix (OITNB is a Lionsgate Television property) and will be made up of half-hour installments.

To get a little taste of G.L.O.W., check out the vintage series' opening credits above and marvel at the cheesiness of it all. Ah, the '80s.
