Watch: New Mom Anne Hathaway Hasn't Slept in 8 Weeks

Anne Hathaway is having the time of her life.

As E! News exclusively revealed last month, the actress and her jewelry designer husband Adam Shulman quietly welcomed their firstborn son, Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman, on March 24. While promoting Walt Disney Pictures' Alice Through the Looking Glass at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills Sunday, Hathaway admitted to E! News Erin Lim that she's been a bit sleep deprived. "Honestly, I haven't slept in eight weeks. I have no idea what I'm saying," the actress said. "This is probably going to go down as not the most normal interview on E! News." Hardly. In fact, since her son's birth, Hathaway revealed that she's been doing "very, very well."

Hathaway reprises her role as the White Queen, a.k.a. Mirana of Marmoreal, in the sequel to 2010's Alice in Wonderland—you know, the film that earned over $1 billion and paved the way for more live-action adaptations of animated classics? When Alice Kingsleigh (Mia Wasikowska) unexpectedly travels back to Underland, she soon discovers that the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) is a shell of his former self. Haunted by the past, Alice tries to rewrite his history by stealing a time device—a Chronosphere— from Time (Sacha Baron Cohen) himself.

If she had the ability to go back in time, Hathaway at first said she would consider changing "a lot of things." Upon further reflection, though, she realized that denying her past would only hinder her future. "One of the things that I love about the movie is you can't change the past. I think that it's kind of easy to fixate on the past and what you could have done differently—the coulda, woulda, shouldas—and that just doesn't really help you. The point of going through things—well, in many instances—is to fail upwards," the 33-year-old Academy Award winner told E! News. "You can't change the past but you can take the lesson with you, you know?"

Despite her earlier warning that she might not give "the most normal interview on E! News, Hathaway perked up and offered an addendum to her answer. "Specifically, don't pluck your eyebrows. Seriously! I found a picture of myself from the other day and they were just so great when I was a teenager. I made them all thin and then it took forever to make them grow back, and then they never grew back quite the same. So just never pluck them!" she advised. "Just wait until you're older and then you'll figure out your brow game. Start with a nice, thick base."

Alice Through the Looking Glass is in theaters Friday.
