We've got some good news, y'all!
Netflix has renewed The Ranch for a second season, star Ashton Kutcher announced on Twitter on Friday. Appearing in a video with his co-stars Danny Masterson and Sam Elliott, who play his brother and father in the family comedy, Kutcher revealed, "Oh yeah, and we got picked up for a second season. Boom!"
Set on a ranch on Colorado, The Ranch acts as a That '70s Show reunion for real-life best friends Kutcher and Masterson, and pokes fun at Hollywood. "It's usually Hollywood making fun of Middle America and we wanted to be Middle America making fun of Hollywood," Masterson told E! News of the series. Kutcher continued, "I think the magic thing is it has that same feeling of a couple friends hanging out or a couple brothers hanging out."
The first half of season one debuted on April 1, with the next ten episodes set to debut this fall. Season two will premiere in 2017.
