Elizabeth Olsen as Michelle Tanner? If the executive producers of Fuller House had their way, that could've happened. John Stamos, Uncle Jesse on Full House and its sequel series Fuller House, has been making the rounds discussing the return of the Tanners (amongst other things) and revealed to Andy Cohen that when Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen passed on reprising the role of Michelle Tanner, they turned to their Avengers star sister.

"We actually went to—I don't think this has been talked about...I didn't do it, I think Jeff Franklin did—I said, 'Call the sister [Elizabeth Olsen]. Ask her'…We talked to her agent and her agent was like, 'Come on she's not going to do that,' but we did call her agent," Stamos told Cohen on his SiriusXM talk show RadioAndy.

"That would've been kind of genius…I mean take kinda out of that sentence," Cohen said.

"Yeah," Stamos replied.

Can you picture it? Elizabeth Olsen as Michelle Tanner? Olsen, the younger sister to the twins, has only done one TV project, How the West Was Fun, a TV movie starring her older sisters. On the big screen she's had roles in blockbusters such as Avengers: Age of Ultron, Godzilla and the upcoming Captain America: Civil War. She shot to stardom with Martha Marcy May Marlene in 2011.

Stamos previously revealed to Howard Stern how the whole misunderstanding between him and the Olsen twins went down after Fuller House was announced.

"I think there was some confusion. They said first I didn't ask them. And I didn't personally, but I was told they were asked," Stamos said on Stern's SiriusXM show. "So I had a knee-jerk reaction and said, 'Bulls--t, I did ask them.' And they got upset, so I did call and talked to Mary-Kate and explained what the show is going to be and told them I'd love for them to be on there and they decided not to, which I respect."

Stamos said the twins, who have two very successful clothing lines, don't consider themselves actors anymore, which is why they turned to Elizabeth Olsen. Michelle Tanner's current career in the world of Fuller House? Working on a fashion line.

Fuller House premieres on Netflix on Friday, Feb. 26.
