Cara Delevingne certainly gets into the holiday spirit this Christmas...but for which one?
The 23-year-old model and actress is the star of Love magazine's 2015 advent calendar's Christmas Day video entry and pays tribute to Monica from Friends, who famously wore a certain edible headpiece as a sign of affection in the 1998 season 5 episode, "The One With All The Thanksgivings."
That's right, Cara recreates her Thanksgiving turkey joke perfectly, donning not only a replica of a whole turkey on her head, but also large plastic glasses and a red Fez hat. She then goes about her normal business: Brushing her teeth, riding down a railing, working out in a gym, taking a bubble bath and cuddling up to another person wearing a turkey head—and all while "Silent Night" plays in the background.
The video was directed by her older sister, Poppy Delevingne, 29, who appears in day 18 of the calendar.
"We were inspired by Monica's turkey head dance in Friends. A Christmas classic," Love quoted her as saying. "We made it sporadically over two days. Cara was a true professional. She would make me reshoot her scenes, over and over again, until she thought she'd captured the true essence of Mr. Turkey Head. I'm just glad we got it out there in time for the Golden Globes..."
