Orange is the New Black's Version of "Night Before Christmas" Makes the Wait for Season 4 Hurt a Little Less

Netflix's prison dramedy tells the best version of this Christmas classic we think we've ever heard

It's only been about six months since we last had new Orange is the New Black, but it feels like it's been literally years

Fortunately, while we don't yet have new episodes, the Netflix dramedy has blessed us with its own rendition of the classic holiday tale, "The Night Before Christmas," told by stars like Taylor Schilling, Taryn Manning, Uzo Aduba and more.

Of course, unlike the rhyme we remember from our childhoods, this version involves vibrating screwdrivers and robbing Santa in the prison yard, but we wouldn't have it any other way.

Watch the video above!

To us, the most interesting part of this video is its inclusion of Sophia (Laverne Cox), who we last saw being thrown into the SHU for her "protection" against attack, when really it was just a way to keep her from suing Litchfield for discrimination.

Hopefully, this means that Sophia will be back, alive and well in season four.

Unfortunately, Nicky (Natasha Lyonne) does not make an appearance in the video, so we still have no idea if we'll ever see her again after she was sent to maximum security, despite how many petitions we've signed and letters we've written asking for her return, which is pretty rude if you ask us.

Now, it's time to settle in to rewatch this video a few times to tide us over for the long wait until next summer, when Orange is the New Black season four is expected to debut on Netflix.
