It's been a rollercoaster ride for movies in 2015.
The mega-hits included Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Jurassic World, Trainwreck and Mad Max: Fury Road.
Way on the other side are Fantastic Four, Jem and the Holograms and Jupiter Ascending. They may have had a lot of heat going into theaters but they're among the year's biggest flops.
Box office receipts and reviews may be an easy way to pinpoint the best and worst movies of the year, but I decided to dig a little deeper.
