Audrina Patridge had a hard time keeping her pregnancy a secret and now faces another dilemma—finding out the sex of her baby.

The 30-year-old, best known for her role as one of Lauren Conrad's friends on MTV's The Hills, as well as for her svelte bikini body, revealed on Friday on social media she is expecting her first child with fiancé Corey Bohan. Patridge had announced their engagement just one month prior.

In a blog post published later on Friday on her website, she opened up about her pregnancy.

"So far, I haven't had any morning sickness, I just feel very tired and like I have a major hangover when I wake up, which is a change for me because I'm constantly on-the-go!" she said. "As far as finding out the sex of the baby...We just want it to be healthy:) Girl or boy, we will be ecstatic either way! Corey's mum wants it to be a surprise, but I don't know if I'll be able to wait! I guess we will just have to wait and see."

"God has a plan for us, and even though it is all happening so fast, I am confident that I'm ready to be a mama!" she added.

Patridge said she had told her family and close friends about her pregnancy before Friday's reveal after failing to lie about why she couldn't drink alcohol at a dinner party.

"I told everyone I was on a detox cleanse to cover my lack of alcohol consumption," she wrote. "With the combination of my poor lying skills and Corey's perma-smile, we were given 'the look' over and over again by our friends and family, so it's safe to say the secret was not a secret much longer!"

She said it has been "incredibly difficult" not talking about her pregnancy publicly.

Patridge said she suspected she was pregnant when she began to feel unwell—she had mood swings and felt fatigued, which are typical early symptoms.

Patridge has not revealed how far along she is in her pregnancy. Another common symptom, which typically peaks in the second trimester, is pregnancy cravings. Patridge had last week shared a pic of a plate of chicken enchiladas and...octopus.

She and Bohan made their red carpet debut as a couple in 2009 and dated on and off over the years. They last rekindled their romance in 2014.

Patridge will be the second The Hills alum to become a mom. Kristin Cavallari, 28, who joined The Hills in season five, and husband and NFL player Jay Cutler, 32, are parents to two sons, Camden, 3, and Jaxon, 1, and daughter Saylor, who was born last month.

Married former The Hills cast mates without children include Conrad, 29, who wed William Tell, 35, in 2014, Whitney Port, 30, and Tim Rosenman, who married in November and Heidi Montag, 29, and Spencer Pratt, 32, who met on the show and wed in 2009.

Pratt, being Pratt, tweeted a snarky response to Patridge's pregnancy announcement, in which she appears to endorse a brand of pregnancy tests.

"I'm confused. so are you pregnant?" he asked.
