For a woman who initially pursued modeling to buy tennis rackets, Hannah Jeter' new life in the Caribbean alongside baseball hunk Derek Jeter is far from shabby.
When she isn't shooting commercials atop a beachside horse for DirecTV or clad in a string bikini with wind blowing her wavy locks, the 25-year-old former Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition covergirl is nestled in St. Thomas, occupying prime beachside real estate with the former New York Yankee.
It's not like either member of this stunning pair is hurting for cash—just take a gander at Davis' left-hand sparkler. According to Forevermark Diamond Expert Kristen Trustey, the estimated four to five carat round solitaire diamond cost Jeter a very pretty penny.
"Assuming that Derek sprung for a center diamond of the highest quality in terms of clarity and color, I would estimate the value to be between $350-$450K," she said.
While Davis became engaged in late October after being romantically linked to the superstar athlete for years, she remains true to her no-cling approach to love.
"That girl in high school that spent every waking moment with the boyfriend and lost all her girlfriends?! That's not what life's about," Davis told GQ. "You have family and friends for a reason! You can't leave that in the dust and your partner should agree with that and want the same things for himself."
It seems Davis was always an independent gal, revealing to the magazine she initially entered into the modeling world to earn some extra cash for her after-school athletic endeavor.
"[I] started modeling to buy tennis rackets," the former ranked junior tennis player said. "It kiiinda grew from there."
If only high school Hannah could see her now.
