Duchess Kate Middleton is certainly business savvy.

The 33-year-old mom of two hit the ground phones running while competing against her husband Prince William to raise the most money during ICAP's Charity Day Wednesday at London's trading floor. As the overall goal of the event, the traders elect to donate their earnings for the day to a particular cause.

The lovebirds, who have been married for four years, spiced things up during their public appearance when the British royal suddenly caught his wife getting a little flirty on the phone while speaking to a broker and trying to firm up a business transaction to out-earn her husband.

"Catherine, I think you can stop flirting with them now!" Prince William joked in front of the group as Middleton giggled and playfully bantered on the phone, according to a report from Hello!.

"Sorry, my wife is just embarrassing me!" he added as an aside to one of the male brokers.

The heat in the office turned up a few more notches when an employee stripped off his pants and strutted his stuff in a pair of black patent leather heels

"I really don't know how you women do it!" the trader said. "Kate told me she was impressed because they were so high and said I should put my feet up the minute they had gone. I certainly took her advice on that one."

In fact, Middleton knew exactly how he felt—she was wearing black suede pumps of her own along with a teal dress and peplum jacket ensemble she recycled from 2012.

It seems Middleton is a just as much of a thrifty businesswoman as she is a royal duchess.

Not to worry—all of the comical antics were certainly for a good cause.

The event supported 13 charities across the United Kingdom and 200 charities worldwide. The annual occasion has raised millions for more than 1,800 charities over its 22 year run since 1993.
